Unverferth Manufacturing, an established agricultural equipment manufacturer, has an opening for a Staff Accountant at its home office in Kalida, Ohio.

The person for this position will assist the Controller with various aspects of accounting including taxation, product costing, business trend analysis, investment reconciliation and general accounting analysis and reporting. In addition, this person will have involvement with ongoing Lean initiatives.

Candidates need to possess a Bachelors degree in accounting and CPA licensure. Prefer an individual with 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment using accounting and ERP systems.

Traits of this individual include being self-motivated, self-directed, and having excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to effectively multi-task. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Access is also requisite.
